A: There are many factors to take into account – the total amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. Even so, we do try to carry out all website migrations within a 48–hour time frame. Smaller sites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: Yup. We will require the name of the web site that you would like us to move. We will also require a way to log into your present web hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your website.

When we have finished the migration, your website will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we will alert you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will need to do is edit the name server records corresponding to your domain name. Your web site will be migrated to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: No. We’ll never contact your hosting provider about anything at all. They will not be aware of the web site transfer either.

A: We can migrate your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–based hosting platform provided that we can acquire access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only sites that we can’t transfer are the ones based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
